Popular Cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Ether have gained over 2 per cent as the crypto trade gains momentum. Cryptocurrency prices remain steady on Monday after rebounding over the weekend. Bitcoin, the world’s most popular cryptocurrency, was trading 2.30 per cent higher at $34,277.64 at 1:35 pm. Its closest rival Ether also rose over 2.40 per cent at $2,143.63.

Edul Patel, CEO and Co-founder of Mudrex, a global algorithm based crypto trading platform had commented on cryptocurrency market , he said “The crypto markets are slowly yet steadily moving out of the weekend consolidation.” As the traded volumes increase, most of the top cryptos are rising higher over yesterday’s levels. Bitcoin has been able to hold its ground over the $34,000 mark. Ether looks good over $2100,” he added. Patel, however, warned that there could be some rapid swings in the crypto market as the consolidation fades.


Cryptocurrency mining in India

India does not have any clear rules for cryptocurrencies, which makes any investment into the space risky. There has been an uptick in cryptocurrency mining in India in recent years. Companies such as Easyfi Network provide mining facilities and blockchain development in the country. Shetty of WazirX believes that there could be some other pockets of small-scale mining operations in some parts of the country. However, there is no official information available on the same.
